Five Melbourne Coffee Shops Perfect for Getting Your Work Done

I’ve been freelancing and traveling for almost a year now (!) and tend to find myself stuck when looking for places to brunch and work.

In order for a place to be a good work environment for a few hours, I need the following:

  • Free Wifi
  • Outlets
  • Vegetarian Options

Finding a coffee shop with all three can be tricky. I also prefer something on the cheaper side, because I like to buy multiple drinks or sides throughout my stay so I’m not just hogging up space.

A Day Trip to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary in Brisbane!

Holding a koala and petting a kangaroo were some of the top items on my Australian bucket list. (What’s left? Seeing a Lushsux wall, teaching a yoga class, and learning how to surf!) I got the chance to go to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary today and check BOTH off my bucket list!

If you’re in Brisbane, you definitely have to check out Lone Pine. It’s one of the only places where you can hold a koala, and there are tons of other animals to see as well. It’s one of the top-rated animal sanctuaries in the world! Use this blog post to plan your day.

Fall in Love with Brisbane: Sunday Funday in Southbank

So here I am in Brisbane…let’s write some blog posts about Brisbane then, hey?

Last Sunday, I had a nice little Southbank Sunday Funday with one of my friends. Southbank, right on the Brisbane River (clever name, guys), has a ton of bars, restaurants, and things to do. We spent the whole day pretty much on one street (Grey Street, the main street,) so I figure I’d talk about the day and give some suggestions for anyone passing through Brisbane! I’m really enjoying the city (enjoy my little life update here) and I can’t wait to keep exploring more neighborhoods over the next two months. So let’s go, shall we?  Southbank!
